Now wait just one darn tootin' minute there skipper, what does this sillysausage of a word mean?
Well creepy dude hiding in the draw, it is the National Novel Writing Month! November that is. So this post is really last minute but oh well! So the aim is to write a 50,000 word novel starting on 1st Nov and ending on the 30th. That's an average of 1,667 words a day! I'm not sure if that's a lot but it sure looks impressive! Now a smart person would plan their story ahead of time to get a general idea of how their novel's going to pan out but not me! Since it's my first time this year, I'm not going to worry too much about that, I can recap to see where everything went wrong. So you, loyal reader should gravitate towards this linky and check it out, make a user and [pun based on writing here]!

Create a Model on a 3D design Software (Explained)
Sure I could've worded it better... NOT. OLOLOlololo. So yeah, a 3D model (i.e. map/weapon/hat) that can be put into a game is pretty much what I'm going for. The train of thought was this: |TF2>PolycountCompetition>People get their creations put in game and get paid for it>Jealousy>Laziness>Put it on the list|
Buy a Lottery Ticket (Explained)
This should really of been on my "16 things to do when I'm 16" if I had one, as I planned to get it on my 16th birthday, and never did, well it's been too long, we're doing it now!
Go to the Double Top (Explained)
The Double Top is a pub right at the top of my road, like, if you followed the road and didn't turn, you'd be ran over because there's like no way to cross the stupid other road because there's always cars there! 10 minutes to cross a road?! *cough* sorry. So I've always thought it was cool to have such a local... building? Because I'm not that bothered that it's a pub, unless it's got cool aracade machines which I doubt, but oh well!
Learn to Poi (Explained)
A lovely birthday gift I got one year was a pair of poi, and though I can't really explain them too well, they look like this:
And work like this:
but without the fire...
So, let's put this gift to good use, I'm poised and ready! OLOLOLOLO

Flip a Table (Explained)
So this was just me being foolish, a little inside joke that I would pretend to flip a table everytime something annoyed me, or as an over reaction to something. It was all fun and games. Until it grew on me, I couldn't help it. These tables, they we- they were too unflipped! I knew the only way I could defeat my demons is to procced with the evil and purposly flip a table. Horrible, Terrifying even. But true!
Learn Basic Photoshop Skills (Explained)
Photoshop, more like Protoshop ammirite? Although MS paint is superior in both entertainment value and quality of work, people just don't take you seriously! Crazy right! So I decided I would at least try and learn the basics so I could bluff my way through the next photoshop meet up (honestly though, I'm only there for the snacks). So how much is too basic? I have to learn what every single prodable button means on the side of the screen, and then some. I haven't really used it that much so I'm not too sure how difficult this will be, but I'm sure it can't be harder than paint (y)

Get A Job Hippy! (Explained)
Not even sure if I need to explain this one. I'm 18 now, and done nothing but sit on mah bum and play video games all the time. And I do think life should be just to enjoy it sometimes you gots to get involved and blahdeblooblah. So I need a job. Fin.
Create an Outdoor Cinema (Explained)
Something something of September, Scott Pilgrim to be shown on an open cinema at Hull! Except I'm nowhere near Hull, and it costs a million pounds to get there by train. That's not good. So what I'll do is, MAKE MY OWN! Easy enough... Erm, grab a white cloth, drape it over a wall, plonk a projector down and hook some speakers to it. Job done.

Have a Walk at Dawn (Explained)
I like walking, it's easy and comfy to do! Anyway. Life goes way to fast, so why not enjoy having a lil' ol' walk when the Sun's just rising, and nobody's around and just take in the natural..ness? As it's getting closer to winter getting up at dawn is about 8:00, so I have to wait untill summer to do this properly, and bonus points for me if I can do it on the longest day, the summer solstice.
Finish Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time (Explained)
So the first Zelda game I ever played was Twilight Princess, and it was amazing. I was hooked, bought the two DS games when they came out and Ocarina of Time on the virtual console. Whilst I have completed both the DS games and TP, I just never got round to playing Ocarina that much, in about a year I only beat the first dungeon (it was a tutorial dungeon by the way) and just gave on it really. The transition from a modern game to a past game is a lot harder than the other way round because of controls and blah blah. But every true Zelda fan has played through it! So here it is on my list, giving me the energy to actually play the game and enjoy it!

Make a Full English Breakfast (Explained)
A simple one this is, but it's on here to get me into cooking. It's not that I don't want to it's just get myself motivated enough to do it, so this should be enough to get me into the swing of things. Here's hoping.
So here's what I'm aiming to have in it:
- Sausages
- Bacon
- Fried eggs
- Toast
- Hashed browns

Ride my bike to town alone (Explained)
Hey man, Jaws was never my scene. But enough of that, what I really wanna say is how useful it would be to be able to ride my bike to town. It takes about 40 minutes on the bus, along with the fact you have to pay, whereas on a bike, you can zippety doodah with no traffic for free! Only problem is I'm terrified of busy roads, naturally there's going to be a few of them. The reason this is on my list is just so town is less of a big deal, in the sence that I don't have to make a day of it if I want to get one thing from it, as well as building up my confidence on a bike, so a win, win, win.

Eat a Taiyaki (Explained)
Not much to say here, just another part of japanese culture I really want to try out. A taiyaki is basically a cake in the shape of a fish filled usually with red bean paste but it can have custard, chocolates and more!

Have a Bento Lunch (Explained)
So I've been interested in Japanese/Asian culture for a while now, probably from reading too much manga but that's neither here nor there, what is important is the awesome stuff they have! One of the things that jumped out at me was their lunches, which contain a range of different foodstuff (though usually contains at least one rice dish) put into small segments into a bento box, pauvaisvo:
To do this though I need two things:
1. A bento box
2. Created food to put into said bento box
Easy enough right? We'll see...

So I'm 18 right.
And after seeing someone create a "40 things to do when I'm 40" it gave me an idea, and if you're not sure what that was then... I'll tell you. So 18 things to do for my 18th year is pretty jaunty, and I've created this blog really as a way for me to see how far I've progressed over the year (by the way my birthday was in September, so let's pretend I've been doing awesome posts for a month and leave it at that).
So here's the bit that the whole blog is based around, the list:
